This briefing was prepared by CORE and 9 other NGOs as a joint response to the UK Government’s release of the ‘Modern Slavery Statement’ on the 26th of March 2020.

The briefing highlights the commendable elements of the statement and lays out our recommendations for the Government to build on its approach.
